The former Vice President in the second Republic Chief Alex Ekwueme have call on the leadership of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) saying that Chief Nwuruku should be sanctioned for creating Confusion in Abia State.

Chief Alex Ekwueme have stated that by Chief Nwuruku who is the South East INEC Ambassdor, by the action of him giving Uche Ogah certificate of return without further delay that it looks like conspiracy against the Abia people to deprive them of their electoral right.
He further added that the current Governor is trying to fight the pro- biafra rebellion .
He described the judgment as “a miscarriage of justice, He said in view of the admonition by the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation Mr. Abubakar Malami (SAN) to allow the current Gocernor stay in office since his appeal is pending he finally said that Chief Nwuruku should be sanctioned for creating Confusion by INEC for confusing the people of the state.
