PDP Blasts the Coup that Happened in Turkey, They Peoples Democratic Party one of the most popular party in Africa and the opposition party in Nigeria after the lost they 2015 election have condemn the action of some Turkish Army by trying to remove  a Government by force.

They party have spoke on the coup that toke place at Turkey to remove President Erdoğan of Turkey from power and enthrone a military Government.

PDP Blasts the Coup that Happened in Turkey

PDP have called on the entire system of Turkey to treat the failed coup in their country with all seriousness and as well persecute the plotters.

The party pointed out that there is no alternative to democracy anywhere in the world and prayed God for the repose of the souls of those who lost their lives in the event, describing it as necessary sacrifice for long term freedom of the people of Turkey and other parts of the world.

They party also adviced the President of Turkey to do a soul search to know were he have betrayed the trust of the people and redress immediately.

Some other people in Nigeria including the President of Nigeria condemned the coup by saying that change of Government is not by force but pointed that any unpopular government will be removed through free and fair election, He also said despite the disadvantage of democracy but it still remains the best system of government, the president praised the people of Turkey for their courage to fight even with guns on their necks.

Other bodies in Nigeria like the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) who spoke through it President he said that reasoning from  the attempted coup notwithstanding, only the people have the legitimate right to constitutionally change a government they willingly elected.

e further that while no one can deny him his place in history for reforms, gross incidents of constitutional violations and human rights abuse abound under his government and got carried away and became disdainful of his own people.

Note that: They Turkey Coup is recorded a very bloody coup with at least 90 people killed and many injured during the coup.
