The Federal Ministry of Education have decided to take decision on Post Utme in Nigeria is Scraps Out, It was a collective decision supported by most individuals and educationist in Nigeria to Scrap out Post Utme in Nigeria.

Mallam Adamu Adamu the Minister of Education in Nigeria, toke this decision at the National Universities Commission in Abuja, during the meeting concerning admission into  Universities, Polytechnics and other higher institutions in the country.

He pointed out that out charges that Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) impose on the student should stop such as collecting money to sell scratch card for change of institution, change of course and other services he said that it should be free.

The minister of Education in Nigeria also pointed out that they main reason for Scrapping out Post Utme in Nigeria is for the fact that it costs parents money and also he said that the corrupt nature of the institutions that is the main reason for Post Utme in Nigeria is Scraps Out .

The Minister said that the Cut-off marks still remains at 180 and above for all higher institution in Nigeria.
